~ WILD RIVERS ~ Ride for Babies

Wild Rivers Ride for Babies

Tour Overview

Join us for an adventure riding weekend through New England's stunning high country!

This guided tour will showcase the raw, untamed beauty of this incredible region as we take in lush rainforests, scenic ridgelines and picturesque hinterland.

A memorable adventure curated by local experts will take in the best of the region, thanks to the good folk who also organised the Walcha Motorcycle Rally. So get ready for an epic route and hidden trails that only the locals know!

We will converge in the picturesque town of Uralla, with a name aptly meaning "meeting place", that is located half-way between Sydney and Brisbane.

Historic Uralla has a rich gold mining history (known also for its association with the bushranger Captain Thunderbolt) and will be Home Base for 3 nights, commencing with a Welcome Dinner on the Friday night followed by two contrasting loop riding days ending on Sunday afternoon.

Routes will also be provided to join the tour from both Sydney and Brisbane areas.

All profits will be going to the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation to help critically ill newborn babies.

Make your way to Uralla for SIGNING-ON from 4pm at the Bushranger Motor Inn.

Detailed Event Information will be provided beforehand including rider preparation and bike set-up.

A Riders Briefing at 6.30pm will be followed by a casual Welcome Dinner that is INCLUDED as a meet and greet for the group. Accommodation (not included) is at your choice for the duration of the ride.

Day 1 – Saturday 28 November 2026  - Eastern Loop Riding Day (Overnight: Uralla)

We will be departing around 8am for a big day of riding, heading into rugged river and forest country onto some awesome forest trails. There will be some spectacular vistas along the way overlooking pristine river valleys and rocky gorges as well as some possible creek crossings (if rainfalls permit).

Our second loop day will showcase vastly contrasting landscapes with free flowing terrain through open farmland, rolling green hills and picturesque hinterland. The main route on both days will be suitable for all levels, but scenic sealed roads will provide a relaxing alternative for those wishing to take it easy for any part of the day. We will plan to return to base in late-afternoon and converge at a central venue (TBA) for a relaxed farewell dinner to share our tales of the day.
